Meta Ads and Paid Lens: product overview

Meta rewards creative velocity and punishes fatigue faster than any other channel. The performance signal is there in Ads Manager, but it arrives as a wall of rows rather than a decision about which creative to retire and which to scale.

Paid Lens imports campaign, ad set, ad and creative-level data through read-only OAuth, including placement and audience breakdowns. It then detects the patterns that matter — frequency climbing while CTR falls, a creative whose cost per result has deteriorated past its cohort, an ad set whose learning phase never completed.

Every finding arrives as a recommended action with expected business impact, so creative decisions get made on evidence rather than on whichever ad someone happened to notice.

What data is imported

Read-only, aggregated for analysis, and never written back to Meta Ads.

Campaign, ad set and ad structure

Objectives, budgets, bid strategy, status and schedule.

Creative metadata

Format, asset references, headline and copy variants for creative-level analysis.

Delivery and spend

Cost, impressions, reach, frequency and clicks.

Placement breakdowns

Feed, Reels, Stories and Audience Network splits.

Audience breakdowns

Age, gender and region breakdowns where the API permits.

Conversions

Pixel and Conversions API results, values and attribution settings.

Common use cases

Retire fatiguing creative on time

Rising frequency paired with falling click-through is flagged before cost per result deteriorates, with the expected saving from rotating in a new asset.

Scale the winner, not the loudest

Creative performance is compared within cohorts so a new asset isn't judged against a fully-scaled one.

Settle the Meta-versus-Google budget argument

Standardized metrics and CRM-backed revenue make the comparison defensible rather than platform-reported.

Separate prospecting from retargeting honestly

Retargeting ROAS is reported alongside its prospecting dependency instead of being celebrated in isolation.

Why connect Meta Ads

Every connection raises the quality of the recommendations Paid Lens can make. Read more about how access is scoped and protected on our security page.

Read-only by design

Paid Lens cannot change budgets, pause campaigns, or edit records. Tokens are encrypted and can be revoked at any time.

Creative is the biggest lever on Meta

Most Meta performance gains come from creative decisions, and those are exactly the decisions Paid Lens is built to prioritize.

Platform-reported ROAS is optimistic

Connecting Meta alongside a CRM lets Paid Lens report the revenue Meta actually contributed rather than what it claimed.

Read-only access

No campaign, budget or creative can be changed by Paid Lens.

Meta Ads integration FAQ

Which Meta accounts are supported?

Any ad account you have access to through Meta Business Manager, including multiple accounts under one business.

Does Paid Lens use the Conversions API data?

Yes. Where the Conversions API is configured, those results are imported alongside pixel-reported conversions.

Can Paid Lens pause an underperforming ad automatically?

No. The integration is read-only by design. Paid Lens recommends the pause and explains the evidence; you apply it in Ads Manager.

Does it analyze creative assets themselves?

It analyzes creative performance and metadata. Asset files are referenced, not copied into Paid Lens.
