Salesforce and Paid Lens: product overview

In enterprise B2B the gap between a lead and a customer can be six months and eleven touches. Any optimization built on platform-reported conversions is optimizing a proxy that stopped being reliable around week two.

Paid Lens connects to Salesforce through a read-only OAuth connected app and imports Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities, stage history and campaign attribution. Standard and common custom fields are supported.

With that data in place, marketing spend is evaluated against opportunity creation, stage velocity and closed-won revenue — the same measures the rest of the business already uses.

See how Salesforce data feeds the prioritized decision queue, how metrics are reconciled in attribution and metrics, or browse setup documentation.

What data is imported

Read-only, aggregated for analysis, and never written back to Salesforce.

Leads and contacts

Status, source and conversion events.

Opportunities

Amount, stage, type, close date and win/loss reason where populated.

Opportunity stage history

Transitions used for velocity and stage conversion analysis.

Accounts

Account-level rollups for ABM and segment reporting.

Campaigns and campaign members

Salesforce campaign attribution and influence records.

Custom attribution fields

Mapped during setup so your existing source taxonomy is respected.

Common use cases

Report marketing in opportunities and revenue

Board-ready reporting that maps spend to pipeline created and revenue closed, with campaign-level evidence.

Spot channels with long, low-probability cycles

Stage velocity analysis exposes sources that generate pipeline which reliably stalls.

Align target CPA with deal economics

Average deal size and win rate by source produce per-channel targets rather than one blanket number.

Support account-based programs

Account-level rollups tie campaign exposure to the accounts that actually opened opportunities.

Why connect Salesforce

Every connection raises the quality of the recommendations Paid Lens can make. Read more about how access is scoped and protected on our security page.

Read-only by design

Paid Lens cannot change budgets, pause campaigns, or edit records. Tokens are encrypted and can be revoked at any time.

Finance already trusts this data

Reporting marketing performance from the same system the business closes revenue in removes an entire category of argument.

Long cycles break platform attribution

Only CRM data can carry an outcome across a six-month cycle back to the campaign that started it.

Read-only connected app

Paid Lens requests read access only and cannot create or modify Salesforce records.

Salesforce integration FAQ

Which Salesforce editions are supported?

Editions with API access, which covers Enterprise, Unlimited and most Professional orgs with the API add-on. Sandbox orgs can be connected for testing.

Can Paid Lens read custom objects and fields?

Custom fields on standard objects are mapped during setup. Custom objects are supported on the Agency plan and by arrangement.

Does Paid Lens write anything to Salesforce?

No. The connected app requests read-only scopes.

How is attribution matched?

Through Salesforce campaign membership and your source fields, supplemented by UTM data captured at lead creation.

How long does setup take?

About three minutes for a standard org. Orgs with heavily customized attribution fields should allow a little longer for field mapping.
