Working the decision queue

The daily workflow: triage P1s, approve what you agree with, and leave a reason when you don't.

Writes and maintains the Paid Lens documentation, from first connection to workspace administration.

The queue is designed to be worked once a day in about ten minutes. Items are ordered by expected business impact, adjusted for confidence and how quickly the effect can be observed.

Priority bands

  • P1 — money is being lost or left on the table right now. Review today.
  • P2 — a meaningful improvement with solid evidence. Review this week.
  • P3 — worth knowing, low urgency. Batch these.

Approving an action

Approving marks the recommendation as accepted and starts a measurement window. Paid Lens does not apply the change for you — make it in the ad platform, then the observed result is compared against the forecast.

Snoozing and dismissing

Always leave a reason. Reasons are the strongest training signal the platform gets: 'seasonal', 'brand campaign, protected', and 'already planned' each change how similar candidates are scored in future.

Frequently asked

Why did a recommendation disappear before I acted on it?
The underlying condition resolved. Resolved recommendations move to the history view with the reason recorded.
Can two people work the queue at the same time?
Yes. Items lock for 15 minutes when opened by a teammate to avoid duplicate approvals.
